He reflects on the past eight years he spent as a mercenary, earning money and sending it back home to his family. Haylan had endured terrible experiences in a foreign country, but was eventually saved by a group of mercenaries and joined their ranks. On the plane, Haylan encounters Reign Labenz, a wealthy CEO who had been caught in a war zone and rescued by him. Reign is attracted to Haylan and offers him her personal card as a token of gratitude. However, Haylan shows little interest and throws the card away, considering it unimportant. As they return to the Longhard Kingdom, Haylan notices two fighter jets escorting the plane. He tells them to leave, but they continue to apany the plane until it enters the kingdom's airspace. Meanwhile, a middle-aged man named Xavier, apanied by his arrogant girlfriend, demands Haylan's seat by the window. When Haylan refuses, Xavier tries to physically intimidate him. In response, Haylan swiftly retaliates, leaving Xavier bloodied and vowing revenge. The story sets up the tension between Haylan and Xavier, foreshadowing a confrontation toe.
