Ganter gritted his teeth. "Okay. | promise you!"
Ethan took out his phone and dialed Andy's number.
"Lord Rivers, what can | do for you?" Andy asked respectfully.
The more he knew about Riveria and its foreign borders, the more he realized Ethan's influence. The nEthan
had even beca symbol of power beyond the borders!
"Is Jeremy available?” Ethan said, “Arrange a tfor Jeremy and Stephen to get on a video call."
Andy was confused as to why Ethan would suddenly want Jeremy to see Stephen. However, since it was Ethan's
orders, he would do as he was told.
"What does Jeremy have to say to Stephen?" Andy asked.
"Just have him express his true thoughts. Oh," Ethan added, "If you're in need of money, you can use this
opportunity to get more from Stephen."
Andy immediately understood Ethan's intention. "Got it."
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtAfter the call ended, Ethan gave Ganter a number. "As you wish. Stephen can have a video call with Jeremy."
Ganter said gratefully, "Thank you."
Ethan smiled. "It's too early to thank me."
Ganter frowned slightly, unsure what Ethan meant by that. However, he had achieved what he chere for
and could now return to report his success.
Though it had cost him, the benefits of helping Austin and Stephen would be immense. After all, the Quinns were
one of the most powerful families in the capital.
Helping them once would guarantee a future of endless wealth and prosperity. Compared to the benefits, going
to Hill City to work as a psychologist was nothing. He could even treat it as a form of retirement.
He thought Ethan was pretty kind for helping him plan his retirement life, but Ethan watched quietly as Ganter
left, his expression indifferent.
Ganter had called Stephen the future of the world, so Ethan wanted him to see what Stephen would turn Hill City
into. Was Stephen the future of the world or a demon?
"I wonder, when Stephen brings this city to ruin, will you still call him the future of the world?"
When Hill City was really turned to ruins, as the person who saved Stephen, Ganter would also becone of
the culprits responsible for its destruction.
Ganter hurried down the mountain and found Simon. "I talked to Ethan, and he has agreed to help Stephen."
Simon was surprised. "Why did he agree to help?"
"Perhaps he was moved by my words, but | also had to promise him something." Ganter said, "I will be going to
Hill City to work from now on."
"This..." Simon paused. "You're going to give up everything you have in the capital?"
Ganter smiled and shook his head. "This is nothing compared to Stephen."
Simon was touched. "Don't worry. We'll thank you properly!"
Ganter handed over the phone number Ethan gave him and said, "This is his number. He'll be able to see Jeremy
by calling this number."
"What?" Shocked, Simon asked, "So it's true that Jeremy isn't dead?"
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmHe quickly dialed Jeremy's number. The call connected quickly, but the voice was not Jeremy's but Andy's.
"Uncle Simon," Andy greeted with a chuckle.
Simon frowned. "Why is it you? Where's Jeremy?"
"He's beside me." Andy said, "I know you want to see him, but Jeremy is one of mine now. Since you treated him
poorly before, | have to get spayback for him now. You can see him, but I'll need a billion dollars."
Simon's expression instantly turned cold. "Andy, watch how you talk to me."
"In that case, there's nothing left to discuss." Andy kept calm and said, "Only Jeremy can save Stephen now. A
billion dollars is nothing to you. Stephen gets several billion dollars as a gift every birthday."
