Chapter 844 Gregory glanced at Dailey, taking in his expression.
Even though Dailey usually maintained a stoic face, even when he managed a smile, it was more subdued than most. Gregory had learned to interpret Dailey's emotions through observation and a little guesswork.

"What's with this aura of doom around you?" Dailey stubbed out his cigarette in the ashtray. He stood up, grabbed the bottle of whiskey, poured himself a generous glass, and downed it in one go.
Gregory pulled up a chair and sat across from him. Casually swirling his wine glass, he said, "You might want to slow down. If you puke, I'm not going to hold your hair back." "Won't need you to," Dailey replied coldly, taking a swig straight from the bottle.
Gregory raised an eyebrow and remarked, "When you're passed out later, I'll find a waitress to shower and dress you, then send the pictures to Christine." Dailey slammed the bottle onto the coffee table.
Unfazed, Gregory continued swirling his wine, exuding an air of nonchalance, "Right now, I'm the only one you can vent your frustrations on." "Out of brotherly love, I'll share something with you," Gregory added. "My wife toldChristine hasn't even asked about the wedding. She doesn't care." Dailey had been on edge ever since Nelly's scheming, feeling like stress was going to give him an ulcer.
"I'm not sure you considera brother," Dailey retorted, annoyed. "You're just whipped." Gregory chuckled, "Guilty as charged. You wouldn't understand the joy of it, being single and all." Since Gregory got married, Dailey felt like they were speaking different languages. He continued drinking, frustrated.

Your attitude matters, whatever she thinks." Dailey rubbed his face in irritation. "You saw today. Did I even get a chance to speak?" This only stoked his anger further. "I don't get it." "My family doesn't approve of Christine, but let's be honest, I'm miles better than Merritt. How could Christine choose him over me?" "Maybe she just prefers someone younger," Gregory shrugged.
Dailey fell silent, not wanting to continue the conversation. "Get out of my room." Gregory finished his wine, stood up and placed his glass on the tablene
Sliding a hand into his pocket, smirked knowingly. Sure you don't want myadvice?" Without hesitation, Dailey responded, "No need." "Alright then."
As Gregory backed towards the door, he said, "With your family watching your every move, you won't be able to get a marriage license in Vista Town, even with all the paperwork." "I had a plan, but since you're not interested, never mind." Dailey quickly stood, striding over to block the door Gregory had just cracked open. With a bang, he shut it again.
Gregory crossed his arms and tilted his head, teasing, "Sorry, I'm a married man."
Dailey realized how close he'd gotten and stepped back to put sspace between them. "What's your plan?" he asked directly. mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLliI0fiflO&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLliIofifl0&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1
