Rosalie didn't know how long she had been trapped here—was it a month, two months, or even five or ten years? She had lost track of time.

Since the last tshe hurt Sebastian, she had been tied up. Even when she went to the bathroom, someone was watching her, holding onto the rope. She had been stripped of all dignity.

But as far as she was concerned, Sebastian had no dignity left as well. Even the most crucial pride of a man had been wounded by her bite, leaving him too afraid to touch her for a long time. This was something he would remember for a lifetime.

Since that incident, Sebastian would occasionallye by to take a glance at her, but he didn't sleep in the sbed with her anymore. He wanted to protect his manhood and needed tto recover.

This was fine with Rosalie. Though she was tied up, at least she no longer had to sleep with Sebastian.

At that moment, Rosalie heard a voice in her ear. "Mom." Turning her head at the sound, Rosalie saw Nana being wheeled in on a wheelchair.

Rosalie wanted to go over, but the distance was too great. She took a few steps forward but was pulled back. She could only sit by the bed.

Nana was wearing a dress. The empty spot where her right leg used to be was glaring.

Her lower leg was still wrapped in bandages, not yet fully healed. Her little face looked pale and weary, missing the lively spark it once had.

"Mr. Carter askedto push Nana over so you could see her. Now that you have, I'll take her away," said the bodyguard before pushing Nana back out.

Nana turned her head, crying out, "Mom!" Rosalie wanted to chase after them, but she was powerless.

Sebastian was doing this on purpose-he was torturing her.

But she didn't dare show that she cared for Nana. She feared that Sebastian would use it against her and threaten her again.

At dinner time, the servant brought the dinner as usual and placed it on the table.

Rosalie noticed that there was a lot of food today-too much for her to eat alone, like it was double the portion.

Just then, Sebastian walked in and told the servant, "You can leave." The servant left and closed the door behind them.

Sebastian then cto Rosalie and untied the ropes on her hands.

There were red marks on her wrists from the rope, and she rubbed them as she coldly stared at him. "You Made an effort to push Nana forto see her today." "What's wrong? Don't you want to see her? I thought you were really worried about her," Sebastian replied.

"I have a lot of people I'm worried about, but can I see them?" Rosalie retorted.

"At least you can see Nana. As for the others, I can't do anything about them," Sebastian said casually as he sat down at the table to eat.

Rosalie didn't want to sit with him and eat. It disgusted her.

Sebastian said, "If you won't eat, then you can go hungry. When you can't take it anymore, I'll give you snutrients." Sebastian continued eating without paying her any attention.

Rosalie wasn't going to let herself get upset just to spite him, so she leaned forward and began eating.

Sebastian wanted to torment her, to see her in pain, but she refused to give him that satisfaction.

She wanted to make him suffer instead. She knew that he was angry underneath his seemingly calm facade.

He had tied her here, but she didn't love him. Nothing was more painful for him than that.

"Rose, let's adopt another child," Sebastian casually said.

Rosalie snorted. "Adopt as many as you want. Adopt a whole bunch for all I care." "Then we'll adopt a whole bunch.

Those children are so pitiful, without ve a family. Giving them a hwould be a good thing," Sebastian said almost sounding like a philanthropist offering those orphans a second chance at life. It was laughable.

If those children were adopted, they would only be stepping into another hell-just like Nana, treated as mere tools and even losing a leg in the process.
